Our Story

We grew up watching our grandparents play 42 with family and neighbors many weekends on their ranch near Lampasas, Texas. Texas 42 has been part of our state since the 1880s, passed hand to hand at kitchen tables, community centers, and domino halls where people teach one another how to bid, count, and trust a partner.

Over the years, we kept looking for a digital version that felt right, but could not find one. Too many got the rules wrong, flattened the strategy, or missed the feel of real 42 altogether. The bones were there, but the soul was not.

We created Follow Me 42 to change that, working together to keep it honest. We wanted a game that respects the details players care about: Nello, Plunge, trump exclusivity, smart table strategy, and a look that still feels rooted in Texas.
