Our Story

I grew up watching my grandparents play 42 with our family and neighbors every weekend on their ranch near Lampasas, Texas. Texas 42 has been part of our state since the 1880s, passed hand to hand at kitchen tables, community centers, and domino halls where people teach one another how to bid, count, and trust a partner.

Over the years, I kept looking for a digital version that felt right, and I could not find one. Too many got the rules wrong, flattened the strategy, or missed the feel of real 42 altogether. The bones were there, but the soul was not.

I built Follow Me 42 to change that, and my wife has helped me keep it honest. We wanted a game that respects the details players care about: Nello, Plunge, trump exclusivity, smart table strategy, and a look that still feels rooted in Texas.
